If you are unable to use the number keys, check if the backlit of the number pad is turned on. To activate the backlit, press Fn+Num Lock. This will turn on the backlit, and the number keys will become functional.

If you cannot use the "DEL" keys, press Shift+Del when the backlit of the number pad is on. To turn off the backlit of the number pad, press Fn+Num Lock. This will turn off the number pad's backlight, and the DEL, HOME, PGUP, PGDN, and END keys will become functional without the need to use the "shift" key.

Regarding the keyboard's lighting, only the number keys, Caps Lock key, and Num Lock key have white backlighting. The numpad's backlight remains on when the number keys are in use, and it turns off when the number keys are locked and unusable.
